War on Gaza: Israeli Army Begins Series of Extensive Attacks on Gaza City

SadaNews - The Israeli occupying army has begun launching a series of extensive attacks on Gaza City, with an Israeli security official stating that these attacks will intensify subsequently, as part of its imminent operation in the city, which aims to occupy it. Meanwhile, dozens of residents have been martyred and injured due to the continuous airstrikes across different areas of the Strip.

In the last 24 hours, 34 people have been martyred and 316 others injured by the occupying forces' fire, bringing the toll of the ongoing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, to 64,905 martyrs and 164,926 injuries, including 2,497 martyrs and over 18,182 people awaiting aid; according to the latest toll reported by the health ministry in the Strip earlier today, Monday.

The occupying army has resumed its attacks and destruction of residential towers in Gaza City, after it bombed and destroyed the Al-Ghafri Tower shortly after issuing evacuation orders for the tower and nearby tents in the Gaza Port area and the Rimal neighborhood.

This comes as Israel continues to expand its war on the Gaza Strip with the escalation of its army operations on the outskirts of Gaza City in preparation for an incursion and occupation. Meanwhile, demolition operations are taking place against buildings and residential towers using airstrikes and the detonation of drones and booby-trapped vehicles, resulting in martyrs and injuries in addition to displacing residents and subjecting them to harsh conditions of displacement.

The occupation is intensifying its attacks on Gaza City to forcibly push Palestinians to migrate to southern Gaza as part of a larger Israeli-American plan to expel them from the Strip.
