"The Fake Doctor".. A Fake Doctor Running a Dental Treatment and Aesthetic Center in Egypt Arrested

Sada News - The Consumer Protection Agency in Beheira, in cooperation with the Free Treatment Administration of the Health Directorate, carried out intensive campaigns on medical facilities in Damanhur. The campaigns resulted in the arrest of two medical centers operating without legal licenses and managed by unqualified individuals.

During the campaign, a woman holding a high school diploma was arrested for managing a dental treatment and aesthetic center. She was impersonating a dentist and practicing the profession without medical qualifications.

A pharmacist was also arrested for managing a center specialized in treating skin diseases and cosmetic skin care, without the necessary licenses to carry out that activity.

Medical devices and equipment used in the two centers were seized. The facilities were closed and completely sealed. The incidents were referred to the Public Prosecution for necessary legal action.

For her part, Beheira Governor Dr. Jacqueline Aazar emphasized the need to intensify oversight on private medical facilities. She stressed the importance of ensuring compliance with health requirements and professional standards to protect citizens' health and ensure the provision of safe medical services of high quality.

The governor emphasized the continuation of surprise inspection campaigns on medical facilities. The campaigns aim to address any violations that threaten citizens' health and to take deterrent measures against anyone practicing medical activities without justification, in order to ensure the safety and security of the province's residents.
