Sa'ar Orders Humanitarian Assistance Worth 2 Million Shekels for Druze in Sweida
Translation by SadaNews - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar ordered on Friday to transfer humanitarian aid to the Druze in Syrian Sweida, following recent events and what he described as "the dire humanitarian situation in the region."
According to a statement from the Israeli Foreign Ministry, as translated by SadaNews, the aid package will be worth 2 million shekels and will include food parcels, medical equipment, a first-aid kit, and medications.
It was noted that the aid will be given from the budget of the Foreign Ministry, indicating that it will be directed specifically to the Druze areas in the Sweida Governorate, which have been directly affected by the violent attacks against the Druze.
