Daily Raids and Arrests in the West Bank
SadaNews - The Israeli occupation forces continue their daily raids and arrests in the villages and towns of the West Bank, where they invaded several areas in Nablus and Hebron amid heavy live fire and house raids.
The occupation forces carried out a wide campaign of raids on dozens of homes, resulting in the arrest of a number of Palestinians, while military operations continued in the governorates of Tulkarem and Jenin, especially in the refugee camps in northern West Bank.
Various areas of the West Bank witnessed a fierce military campaign, including operations of arrest and incursion that caused injuries and widespread destruction, amid the continuation of the tight siege and closure imposed on Palestinian cities and towns.
Among these violations, the occupation forces invaded the vicinity of the cemetery in the northern town of Assira, near Nablus, and carried out a campaign of raids targeting the homes of several residents.
In a related context, a Palestinian youth was injured by the gunfire of the occupation forces early Monday near the apartheid wall adjacent to the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem. The injured person was transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, and it was found that he is a resident of Salfit villages and was shot with live bullets in his foot.
Palestinians face gunfire, pursuit, and arrest daily while attempting to reach their workplaces inside the occupied territories, either through military checkpoints or by trying to bypass the apartheid wall.
On the other hand, settlers invaded the Ein Samiya wells area east of the town of Kafr Malik, northeast of Ramallah, and began widespread destruction and vandalism of the region's infrastructure.
The Jerusalem governorate, in a statement, said that a group of settlers invaded all the Ein Samiya wells last night, causing significant damage leading to a complete disruption of communication and control over the water network.
The governorate pointed out that these wells are the only source supplying dozens of villages and residential areas in the region with water, warning that settlers' attacks have become more frequent and are escalating day by day, despite formal complaints submitted to all relevant authorities.
