Bir al-Maksur: Young man dies after being hit by a police vehicle on Street 77

SadaNews - The young man Ahmad Jamal Samahne (22 years old) from the town of Bir al-Maksur, lost his life early this Tuesday morning after being involved in a hit-and-run incident on Street 77 near the Haladiya intersection "Hamovil".

Ambulance crews arrived at the scene of the accident, where they attempted to provide first aid to the injured, but declared his death due to his severe injuries while the police launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.

Upon the arrival of the medical teams, they found the young man unconscious, without a pulse or breath, suffering from severe injuries across various parts of his body, leading to his death being announced at the scene after medical examinations.

The ambulance crew that arrived at the accident scene stated that the injured individual was lying on the side of the road in an extremely critical condition, and the severity of his injuries left the medical team with no possibility of saving his life, forcing them to declare his death.

Initial investigation findings into the fatal road incident that occurred during the night on Street 77, between the Hamovil intersection and the Zarazir intersection, revealed that the victim, a young man from Bir al-Maksur, was involved in a traffic accident while driving his vehicle in the direction of Hamovil.

According to the investigations, the young man exited his vehicle after the collision, and while attempting to move away from the accident site, he crossed the safety barrier and jumped into the opposite lane, where he was struck by a police vehicle passing through the area, which resulted in severe injuries that led to his death.
