Trump: Either Reach an Agreement with Iran or "America Will End the Mission"

SadaNews - U.S. President Donald Trump described the United States' performance in the Iran war as "great" on Monday, confirming Washington's elimination of Tehran's army. According to international media sources, Trump stated in a speech: "Our performance in Iran has been great, and we have eliminated its army, and it cannot obtain nuclear weapons." The U.S. President continued: "Our country is in excellent shape, and we are achieving results in Iran similar to those we achieved in Venezuela," asserting: "We have not received the media coverage we deserve regarding Iran, but we have militarily crushed them, and our country is strong, with the strongest army in the world." He noted that he does not seek to change the regime in Iran, preferring to reach a final agreement, adding: "The U.S. Navy has imposed the greatest blockade on Iran that the world has ever seen, and not a single ship has been able to breach it." He emphasized: "I do not want to harm 91 million people," acknowledging that he "secured concessions from Iran, and they must abide by them, and we will also obtain the high-enriched uranium from Iran," threatening: "We can disrupt Iranian energy supplies and destroy all those major plants they have built." He also stressed that either Washington reaches an agreement with Iran, or "the mission will end," pointing out that Iran prefers to reach an agreement. Trump's statements come at a time when the region is witnessing intense diplomatic movements from mediators following the announcement by both the United States and Iran of a memorandum of understanding that includes a cessation of military operations and a preparation for negotiations lasting 60 days to reach a final settlement to end the war.
