Translation SadaNews - In the first official Israeli comment, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar considered Hamas's announcement regarding the dissolution of its governmental committee to be a maneuver through which the movement seeks to allow a technocratic government to take responsibility for Gaza while refraining from disarming itself.

Sa'ar noted in a tweet, as translated by SadaNews, that Hamas seeks to implement the model of Hezbollah in Lebanon.

He stated: The technocratic government will be responsible for waste removal and municipal services, while Hamas will remain the dominant military power... When weapons are in the hands of Hamas, the civilian government will, of course, operate according to its directives.

He added: This way, Hamas can continue to suppress Palestinians in Gaza and carry on its war against Israel.

He emphasized that Israel insists on implementing U.S. President Donald Trump's plan literally, which revolves around dismantling Hamas and other organizations, disarming them, and completely stripping the Gaza Strip of weapons.
