Palestine Exchange and MAS Institute Conclude a Specialized Training Course in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management
SadaNews Economy - The Palestine Exchange and the Palestinian Economic Policy Research Institute (MAS) concluded today, Monday, a specialized training course titled "Financial Statement Analysis and Portfolio Management" at the MAS headquarters in Ramallah, with the participation of 21 trainees from the staff of brokerage firms that are members of the exchange.
This course is part of the joint activities being implemented within the framework of the strategic partnership agreement signed between the Palestine Exchange and the institute, aiming to enhance cooperation between the two parties. In this context, this course seeks to develop the capabilities of those working in the securities sector and enhance the professional and technical competencies of brokerage firm employees, particularly in the area of financial analysis, which is considered one of the essential tools in supporting investment decisions and improving the quality of services provided to investors.
The course covers two main topics; the first is dedicated to financial statement analysis, presented by Dr. Muaz Abu Ar-Rub, Amro Harb, and Raghad Makawi, while the second topic focused on portfolio management, presented by Dr. Alaa Raziyeh. The course included practical applications and case studies that contribute to enhancing the practical aspects for the participants.
The organization of this course was in response to the training needs identified by the Palestine Exchange through the rounds and meetings it held with brokerage firms, aiming to address the main professional requirements for workers in the sector and to design training programs that directly and practically meet these needs.
The Palestine Exchange and MAS Institute confirmed that this course represents one of the most important joint activities between the two parties and marks the beginning of implementing specialized training programs that contribute to qualifying staff with the necessary skills in the field of financial analysis and portfolio management more efficiently, reflecting positively on the quality of services provided to investors and contributing to the development of the Palestinian securities sector.
