Trump: Whoever Wants to Allow Iran to Have Nuclear Weapons is "a Fool"
SadaNews - President Donald Trump considered that "whoever wants to allow Iran to have nuclear weapons is a fool. "
Trump said in a talk to reporters on Tuesday, "Washington will only sign a good deal with Iran."
He added, "We have effectively imposed sanctions on Iran, and Tehran was getting a lot of money through the Strait of Hormuz."
Regarding negotiations aimed at ending the war, he said: "We will see how things develop regarding a ceasefire with Iran."
In the same context, Trump gave Iran a choice between "doing the right thing", threatening to "end dealings with them".
Trump also stated that he will have extensive discussions with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping about Iran during his upcoming visit to Beijing, which he will reach on Wednesday.
He continued: "I don't think we will need Xi's support regarding Iran," affirming that the Chinese president will visit the United States before the end of this year.
Regarding the war in Ukraine, Trump pointed out that there is no understanding with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin regarding Russia's seizure of the Ukrainian Donbas region.
The American president stressed that the war in Ukraine "will end very soon".
