Visit and Meeting of the Bar Association with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society and its President

SadaNews - The President of the Palestinian Bar Association, lawyer Fadi Abbas, met with the members of the Bar Council, lawyers Malik Al-Aouri and Anas Al-Kaswani, along with the President of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, Dr. Younis Al-Khateeb, during a visit to the Society's headquarters to affirm the strength of the partnership and cooperation between the two parties and to apologize for the actions and behavior of one lawyer and a limited number of other lawyers towards another lawyer during the Annual General Meeting of the Bar Association held at the Red Crescent Hall in the city of Al-Bireh.

Following a welcome from the President of the Society, the Bar President expressed the association's pride in its strong relationship with the Red Crescent Society and what it represents as a national institution and its social and humanitarian message in serving the Palestinian people. He presented the association's apology for the actions of one lawyer along with a few others for their assault on another lawyer during the Annual General Meeting inside the conference hall of the Society in Al-Bireh, emphasizing that the Bar Association did not hesitate to take the strongest disciplinary measures against this misconduct, which constitutes a blatant violation of professional conduct rules and the traditions and customs of this noble profession and its lofty message.

For his part, Dr. Al-Khateeb, the President of the Society, affirmed his pride in the relationship between the Society and the Bar Association, and his eagerness to continue this relationship, considering the incident an unfortunate individual act that cannot affect the strategic partnership between the two parties. He emphasized his pride in the Bar Association as a national professional union that encompasses thousands of legal elites and competencies that positively contribute to the Palestinian rights and national situation.
