Suspension of Some Operations at Fujairah Port in the UAE Following Drone Attack
SadaNews - Bloomberg reported on Saturday that some oil loading operations at the UAE's Fujairah Port, located outside the Strait of Hormuz, have stopped following a drone attack and a fire that broke out this morning.
The Fujairah Port is considered one of the vital ports in the region and is important for global oil supplies.
Emirati authorities have begun assessing the damage caused by the attack and are taking necessary measures to ensure that operations can resume as soon as possible, while oil companies are working to reschedule transport operations to ensure supply stability.
Since Saturday, February 28, Israel and the United States have been conducting airstrikes on Iran, which resulted in the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Since then, Tehran has been retaliating by attacking Israel and countries in the region with missiles and drones.
