United Star: My Family Feels Proud of My Participation in the Africa Cup
SadaNews - Bryan Mbeumo, the Cameroon national team player and Manchester United, confirmed that he feels excitement and motivation as he participates for the first time in the Africa Cup of Nations currently held in Morocco.
The Manchester United star missed the previous edition in Côte d'Ivoire due to an injury that prevented him from joining his national team.
Mbeumo stated in an interview published on Wednesday on the official website of the Confederation of African Football (CAF): "I am very excited. I have been waiting for this moment for a long time, and I am very happy to be part of the team in Morocco."
The former Brentford player and current Manchester United player, who represented the Cameroon national team in the World Cup, acknowledged the special and unique significance of the Africa Cup of Nations.
He added: "It is a source of pride for all Africans. In my family, we have always watched the Africa Cup of Nations, and for them to see me playing in it now will be a great honor. It is a very special tournament to be part of."
