Occupation intensifies presence in Tulkarm city and storms the area surrounding Thabit Thabit Hospital
SadaNews - This morning, Monday, the city of Tulkarm witnessed a heavy presence of Israeli occupation military vehicles and infantry, specifically around the vicinity of Thabit Thabit government hospital street.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces closed the street, obstructing the movement of vehicles and citizens, while they stormed the Al-Audian commercial building in the area and took control of its rooftop, during which they detained a number of citizens and subjected them to field interrogation, with no arrests reported.
This escalation comes amid the ongoing Israeli aggression against the city and its two camps, Tulkarm and Nur Shams, for the 267th consecutive day, amidst a tightened siege that prevents residents from entering them, with gunfire directed at anyone attempting to approach.
The occupation forces also intensified their siege on the Tulkarm camp, installing iron gates at the entrances leading to several of its alleys, particularly from the western side, while earthen barriers were set up in the eastern neighborhood of the city adjacent to the camp, after confiscating a number of citizen homes in that area.
