The White House stated on Wednesday that the presidential order signed by Trump significantly enhances the United States' commitment to Qatar's security.
It added that the presidential order stipulates that the United States will take appropriate measures to defend its interests and those of Qatar.
The White House emphasized that the State of Qatar has contributed as a mediator in the United States’ efforts to resolve important regional and international disputes.
