Martyrs in a Series of Airstrikes on Gaza and Targeting of the Area Around the Islamic University

SadaNews - 14 citizens were martyred and others were injured today, Wednesday, in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting several areas in the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that 7 martyrs were killed and others injured due to the bombardment of a home belonging to the Abu Kameel family in the al-Daraj neighborhood east of Gaza City, while 6 citizens were martyred and others injured as a result of targeting the al-Falah school which shelters displaced persons in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of the city.

Additionally, the occupation forces set fire to buildings in the vicinity of the Islamic University in the southwest of Gaza City, resulting in significant damage.

One citizen was also martyred and several others were injured in an airstrike conducted by an Israeli drone on the al-Jadid camp northwest of the al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, health officials reported that the month of September 2025 alone witnessed the martyrdom of 2106 citizens in the Gaza Strip, distributed as follows: northern Gaza: 1382 martyrs, central Gaza: 347 martyrs, southern Gaza: 377 martyrs.
