
The Death Toll of the Occupation's Aggression on the Gaza Strip Rises to 61,599 Martyrs
SadaNews - The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Tuesday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 61,599, the majority of whom are children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.
It added that the number of injuries has risen to 154,088 since the onset of the aggression, while many victims remain under the rubble, and rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.
It noted that 100 martyrs (including 11 whose bodies were retrieved) and 513 injured individuals arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours, while the total number of martyrs and injuries since March 18, after the occupation breached the ceasefire agreement, has reached 10,078 martyrs and 42,047 injuries.
It clarified that the death toll of aid martyrs who reached the hospitals in the last 24 hours is 31 martyrs, with 388 injuries, raising the total number of martyrs from daily earners who have reached the hospitals to 1,838, and the number of injuries to 13,409.
