Jordan Bank Launches the New Season of the 'My Profession' Program 2026 to Qualify Palestinian University Students
SadaNews - As part of its ongoing efforts aimed at empowering youth and enhancing their readiness to enter the labor market, Jordan Bank launched the 2026 season of its strategic program "My Profession" in Palestine, targeting a new cohort of Palestinian university students. The aim is to equip them with practical skills and applied knowledge that complement their academic knowledge and build their functional and professional capabilities through a qualitative training experience that combines knowledge and application in a real banking work environment.
The program includes practical training in various departments and sections of the bank, under the direct supervision of its specialized staff, allowing participants to closely learn about institutional workflows and the nature of modern banking work. They will also acquire practical experiences and technical and personal skills that enhance their readiness to engage in the labor market.
Launched in 2018, the "My Profession" program is part of Jordan Bank's strategy to invest in young talents. It relies on an integrated training methodology that includes selecting participants, training them, and evaluating their performance against clear criteria, while monitoring their development in technical, practical, and personal aspects, contributing to the preparation of a generation of competencies capable of meeting the demands of the banking sector and the labor market.
The CEO of Jordan Bank branches in Palestine, Saif Issa, confirmed that the "My Profession" program represents one of the most important strategic initiatives of the bank in the field of youth empowerment. It aims to develop the practical skills of students and recent graduates through a professional training experience that allows them to work in a real banking environment, thereby bridging the gap between academic education and labor market requirements.
Issa added that the program aligns with the developments that Jordan Bank is experiencing and focuses on developing innovation and creativity skills and teamwork, offering participants opportunities to gain practical experiences that strengthen their ability to deal with professional challenges, consistent with the bank's vision of preparing qualified competencies to lead the future of the financial and banking sector.
Issa clarified that participants will receive practical experience and a certificate of participation that enhances their chances of joining the labor market, along with priority in applying for jobs announced by the bank when vacancies arise. He emphasized that the continuation of the program embodies Jordan Bank's commitment to its social responsibility and its belief that investing in youth and employment-related training is one of the most important tools for sustainable development, especially in light of the conditions in Palestine.
The program is part of Jordan Bank's ongoing efforts to invest in human capital and transfer its banking experience, spanning more than six decades, to the new generation by providing a practical training experience that contributes to refining participants' skills and enhancing their understanding of the nature of banking work, widening their professional horizons, thereby increasing their integration opportunities in the labor market.
Jordan Bank is one of the first banking institutions to begin its operations in Palestine after 1994, and continues through its development programs and community initiatives to support youth and invest in national competencies, contributing to enhancing economic development and building the capacities of the next generation.
