Soldier Killed in Ambush.. Martyrs and Wounded in Israeli Airstrikes on Lebanon
SadaNews - At least 15 Lebanese were martyred on Friday in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas of villages and towns in southern Lebanon.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency, the martyrs fell during shelling that targeted the towns of Al-Sharqiya, Harouf, and Kfar Sir in southern Lebanon.
Several other towns and villages were subjected to a series of airstrikes and artillery shelling.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Hezbollah party stated that it had detected movements of Israeli ground forces attempting to advance north of Mount Ali al-Tahir, and lured them into an ambush during which anti-tank missiles were used.
According to platforms for settlers, one soldier was killed during battles in southern Lebanon early Friday.
The Israeli army did not confirm the news of the soldier's death, as such announcements are usually made later.
The Israeli army said in a statement on Friday morning that it had carried out attacks throughout the night and continues to target militants and infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in several areas of southern Lebanon.
It claimed that the attacks were carried out after continuous and repeated violations of the ceasefire by the Hezbollah organization.
