More than 19,000 Travelers Crossed Through the Karama Crossing Last Week
SadaNews - More than 19,000 citizens and visitors crossed through the Karama Crossing during the past week, while the police arrested 41 individuals wanted by the judiciary.
The number of departures during the week was 10,207 individuals, while the number of incoming travelers was 9,539 individuals, and the movement of travelers was moderate.
During the same period, the police apprehended 41 individuals who were wanted by the judiciary and prohibited from traveling, either while attempting to leave through the crossing or while anticipating their arrival upon entering Palestinian territories. They are wanted in cases brought before the courts and public prosecution.
The police and all security and civil agencies in the General Administration of Crossings and Borders provided many facilities and services to all citizens, including coordinating for 4 medical cases to travel between both sides of the crossing in Palestinian ambulances.
