Warning of the Danger of the Shutdown of the Only Oxygen Production Station in Gaza and the North

SadaNews - The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip has warned of the danger of the shutdown of the only operational oxygen production station in the Gaza and Northern Governorates, which is considered the main source for supplying patients, especially those with chronic diseases, in addition to providing medical institutions with medicinal oxygen.

It explained that the station suffers from repeated malfunctions due to the heavy pressure and long operating hours, in light of the lack of sufficient alternatives, which threatens to disrupt the supplies of medicinal oxygen and puts the lives of patients at serious risk.

It added that the continuation of this situation warns of an imminent humanitarian catastrophe, amidst the increasing need for oxygen within hospitals and health centers.
