Ambassador Arafa briefs the Federal Commissioner for Human Rights on the serious escalation in Palestine

SadaNews - The Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Lyth Arafa, briefed the Federal Commissioner for Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid at the German Foreign Office, Lars Castellucci, a member of the Social Democratic Party, on the serious developments in Palestine amidst the escalation of the Israeli aggression against our people and the continuation of the humanitarian disaster.

Arafa reviewed during the meeting held at the German Foreign Office the ongoing killings and the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip, despite the announcement of a ceasefire.

The meeting also addressed the escalation of settler terrorism, the policies of annexation and settlement expansion, in addition to the serious violations of sacred places in Jerusalem, the law of executing prisoners, and the grave violations that prisoners are subjected to, including killings, torture, and inhumane conditions inside prisons.

Arafa expressed his appreciation for Castellucci's public and clear stances on these issues, and the positions of the German government regarding settlement expansion, annexation, and the crimes of settlers, emphasizing the need to translate these positions into practical and tangible steps to stop this serious aggression, reflecting the international community's responsibility towards the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in Palestine.
