Injuries and Extensive Destruction in "Dimona" Due to Intense Iranian Missile Attack
SadaNews - Hebrew media reported this evening, Saturday, March 21, 2026, that several injuries and significant material damage occurred in the city of "Dimona" in southern Israel, due to an intense Iranian missile attack described as the heaviest since the beginning of the escalation.
Israeli radio quoted the mayor of "Dimona" as saying that the city was hit by Iranian missiles in various areas, confirming direct injuries among settlers and substantial property damage.
In the same context, Channel 12 in Israel revealed an initial tally indicating that about 20 people were injured at 12 different locations in the Dimona area, with injuries ranging from shrapnel wounds to physical injuries sustained while fleeing to shelters, in addition to dozens of cases of panic.
Additionally, Israeli fire and rescue crews announced the collapse of a one-story building in the city following a direct hit, leading to a massive fire in the area. Firefighting teams are currently working in several locations to try to control the fires and conduct search operations for those trapped under the rubble, as well as to rescue others from inside fortified rooms.
