Occupation detains dozens of citizens and imposes a siege on Beit Omer

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces stormed several areas in Hebron Governorate today, Wednesday, detaining dozens of citizens and subjecting them to field interrogation, while imposing a tight siege on the town of Beit Omer.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the Wadi Al-Hariya neighborhood in Hebron city, raiding the home of the father of the martyr Imran Al-Atrash and completely destroying its contents. They also invaded the Abu Kitailah neighborhood, raiding several homes and detaining their owners for several hours.

In the town of Deir Samet, west of Hebron, the occupation forces stormed the town and detained several young men, subjecting them to field interrogation after taking over one of the houses and turning it into a military outpost and interrogation center.

In Beit Omer to the north, the occupation forces invaded the town and stormed a large number of citizens' homes, turning some of them into military barracks, including the home of the family of martyr Walid Sabarnah, and destroyed its contents before completely closing it and preventing its owners from entering.

The occupation forces imposed a military siege on Beit Omer, closing all roads leading to it, and preventing residents from moving in and out of the town, in addition to detaining dozens of citizens in the town's playground and subjecting them to field interrogation.

It is noteworthy that martyrs Al-Atrash and Sabarnah were martyred yesterday after Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition at them, south of Bethlehem.
