The Identity of the Fourth Body Confuses Israel.. Investigations Reveal the Killing of Soldier Tamir Nimrodi in an Airstrike
SadaNews - Investigations are ongoing in Israel regarding the identity of the fourth body that the Al-Qassam Brigades handed over to the Red Cross late last night, amid indications that it does not belong to an Israeli hostage as previously thought, but may belong to a member of Hamas.
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported, as translated by SadaNews: "An investigation is underway into the possibility that the fourth unidentified body is not that of an Israeli hostage."
In turn, Channel 12 Hebrew reported, citing security sources, that the fourth body "seems to belong to a Hamas member who participated in the kidnapping operation," reinforcing the hypothesis that the Israeli airstrike could have resulted in the deaths of everyone at the site, including Israeli soldier Tamir Nimrodi.
In the same context, the Forum of Israeli Captive Families announced that medical examinations showed that soldier Tamir Nimrodi, who was believed to have been killed during his captivity, was alive at the moment an Israeli airstrike targeted the location where he was held, meaning he was killed as a result of the Israeli aerial bombardment of his captivity site.
