The Israeli government approves the appointment of Zini as head of the Shin Bet

Last Thursday evening, the advisory committee for senior appointments in Israel, called "Gronis", approved Zini's appointment as head of the Shin Bet.
Zini is considered Netanyahu's candidate to be the head of the Shin Bet, replacing Ronen Bar, whom Netanyahu has tried to blame for failure several times in many security issues.
