Occupation Uproots Olive Trees in the Lands of Ya'bad and Arraba Towns West of Jenin
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces uprooted olive trees from lands belonging to the towns of Ya'bad and Arraba west of Jenin this morning, Wednesday.
Ibrahim Khmeisa, the mayor of Ya'bad, stated that occupation bulldozers stormed the town and razed agricultural land belonging to a local resident, uprooting olive trees and demolishing agricultural sheds within it, in addition to a nearby plot of land belonging to a resident of Arraba.
He added that six months ago, the occupation had notified the landowners of its intention to uproot the trees and return the land to its previous state.
According to Khmeisa, about six occupation bulldozers are still operating on the land, and so far, more than 50 olive trees have been uprooted, noting that the occupation forces have prevented landowners and citizens from reaching the area.
