Trump Threatens New Strikes Against Iran
SadaNews - U.S. President Donald Trump stated in a post on the "Truth Social" platform today (Wednesday) that Iran has taken too long to negotiate a deal.
Trump emphasized that Iran "will now have to pay the price," without providing any additional details regarding the nature of this threat or the steps that Washington may take.
Later, he told Fox News that Tehran has taken an excessively long time to reach an agreement and is close to giving orders for new strikes against it.
He added: I am about to issue orders for new attacks on power stations and bridges in Iran.
He considered the naval blockade on Iran as the most successful in the history of naval warfare.
He continued: The naval blockade prevents Iran from engaging in any commercial transactions or paying the salaries of its army or any of its financial obligations.
Trump's statement comes at a time when relations between the United States and Iran are experiencing a new escalation, amid stalled efforts to reach an agreement between the two sides.
