Report: The US Army has begun constructing a massive base near the Gaza Strip border
SadaNews - The newspaper Israel Hayom reported that the US Army has started building a massive base near the Re'im camp, at the Gaza Strip border.
According to the newspaper, this base is set to be used as a military and civilian headquarters for international entities and forces that will arrive in the region to promote Trump's plan, and it will serve as an alternative to the multinational headquarters that was located in Kiryat Gat.
As part of the infrastructure development for the new base, there are plans to build a tower for command and control purposes over the forces deployed in the field.
The United States has already started issuing various tenders for the construction of the base, including tenders for mobile buildings that are expected to be used by troops and command headquarters until the permanent facilities are completed.
