"Jerusalem Electricity" Enhances Its Community Partnership to Develop Vocational Training and Keep Pace with the Labor Market

SadaNews - As part of strengthening cooperation with the National Authority for Vocational and Technical Education and Training, the Jerusalem Governorate Electricity Company held a joint meeting to discuss ways to improve the quality of vocational training and align it with the fast-paced labor market requirements.

The meeting was attended by the head of the National Authority for Vocational and Technical Education and Training, Dr. Rabih Marar, and the vice president, Dr. Hisham Salama. On behalf of the company, the director of the training center, Eng. Bassem Badr, and his deputy, Mr. Jihad Awadat, were present, along with the director of the technical department at the Ramallah branch, Eng. Said Rayan.

During the meeting, the company handed the authority a "Guide to Electrical Extensions" issued by it, and showcased its experience in vocational training that integrates both theoretical and practical aspects, in addition to on-the-job training programs that contribute to enhancing the efficiency of trainees and preparing them for participation in the labor market.

The discussion also covered the prospects for developing vocational training centers, focusing on incorporating modern and vital topics, such as fiber optic technology, solar energy systems, energy storage technologies, and electric vehicle charging systems.

This cooperation affirms the commitment of both parties to support the vocational education system and strengthen its connection to market needs, contributing to expanding job opportunities and enhancing the efficiency of the technical staff.
