Injuries in a Widespread Attack by Settlers on Deir Jarir East of Ramallah
SadaNews - Several citizens were injured this evening, Thursday, with bruises and contusions, following a widespread attack launched by settler militias, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, on the town of Deir Jarir east of Ramallah. The assault involved attacks on citizens' homes and vehicles, and prevented ambulances from reaching the injured.
Local sources reported that approximately 150 settlers attacked the town from four different directions, coinciding with the closure of the main gate and the assault on several citizens' homes and their vehicles. They physically assaulted residents who attempted to confront the attack, resulting in injuries to some of them.
The sources added that settler militias surrounded several families, including women, children, and the elderly, and attempted to assault them. They also tried to set fire to inhabited homes, causing panic among the citizens.
It was noted that the attack caused extensive damage to citizens' homes and property, while occupation forces prevented ambulances from reaching the town to transfer the injured to the hospital for treatment.
