Explosions in Iran and U.S. Official Denies Conducting Strikes
SadaNews - A series of explosions were heard on Thursday evening in southern Iran, amid reports that they were the result of American bombing.
The Iranian news agency Mehr reported that several explosions were heard in Konarak in the Sistan and Baluchestan province in southeastern Iran.
Explosions also occurred in the cities of Bushehr, Jahadak, and Bandar Abbas.
Iranian sources indicated that air defense systems were activated in the airspace of several Iranian coastal areas to confront hostile targets.
A senior U.S. official denied to Axios that the U.S. military conducted any strikes in Iran in recent hours, a claim that was confirmed by another source to CNN.
