Netanyahu Describes Turkey as an "Enemy" and Katz Threatens Iran Again
Translation by SadaNews - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described Turkey as an "enemy" on Thursday evening, without directly and explicitly naming it.
This statement was made during a speech at the graduation ceremony of recruits from the Israeli Air Force.
Netanyahu stated, according to SadaNews translation, the war is not over yet, and alongside the old challenges, new challenges are emerging, alliances are forming, and others are fading, and we are paying attention to these matters, and we are ready for all possibilities.
He added: We must always be stronger than our enemies and maintaining Israel's air superiority is a key element of national security and crucial for preserving stability in the Middle East (referring to Turkey after Trump's intentions to sell them F-35 aircraft).
He continued: The Middle East region last year witnessed unprecedented activity, especially our operations in Iran.. If we had not taken action, Iran would have armed itself with nuclear weapons.
He went on: The Iranian regime has suffered a very severe blow, and our policies are clear: whether there is an agreement or not, Iran will not possess nuclear weapons.
He emphasized that his forces will not withdraw from the safe area in southern Lebanon.
For his part, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said, we are today stronger, more determined, and more powerful, and our army is prepared and ready to resume operations, to achieve air superiority again, and to conduct an Israeli attack in Iran to eliminate threats even for the third time.
He added: If we have to return, we will return with even greater force.
He continued: The Israeli army is currently present in security areas in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria and will not withdraw from them.
