Trump Announces Cancellation of Strikes on Iran and Reaching an Agreement Soon

SadaNews - U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Thursday evening the cancellation of planned strikes and bombings against Iran scheduled for this evening.

Trump stated: The cancellation of the bombing is based on the talks with Iran reaching the highest levels of Iranian leadership and their agreement.

He added: The final points have received the approval of the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others.

He continued: The maritime blockade will remain in effect until the completion of the agreement, and a date and location for the signing will be announced soon.

Earlier today, Trump stated that the United States would strike Iran very hard tonight and "will seize the Iranian oil and gas markets."

Trump wrote on "Truth Social": "The United States will deliver a very strong blow to Iran tonight (which has lost its naval fleet, air forces, radars, air defenses, and all forms of its other defenses, as well as most of its offensive capabilities)."

He added: "Before long, we will seize the Iranian island of Khark, among other oil infrastructure sites, and take complete control of the Iranian oil and gas markets, as we did with Venezuela, which has yielded outstanding results for both Venezuela and the United States."

In an interview with Fox News, Trump said he would like to reach an agreement with Iran now.

He added: The bridges are our next target for strikes, but I do not want to do that because when I do, people suffer.

He continued: We sent weapons to Iranian protesters, but we have been very frustrated with the Kurds because they did not deliver the weapons to the protesters.

He continued: People will not be able to drink water, and I do not want that to happen.

He continued: Iran’s time is up, and we could enter our forces tomorrow, but I do not want to send ground troops.

He continued: I prefer to seize the island of Khark, but I am not sure if we have the desire to proceed with that.
