Hamas Confirms Progress in Cairo Negotiations
SadaNews - Hossam Badran, a member of the political bureau of Hamas and a member of the negotiation delegation, stated on Thursday that the meetings of Palestinian forces and factions currently taking place in Cairo are proceeding positively and constructively, pointing to a consensus on a unified national position regarding the roadmap presented for implementing the second phase of U.S. President Donald Trump's plan.
Badran added in a press statement: We are also continuing our meetings with the mediators in a positive and responsible spirit, aiming to succeed in the current round and protect our Palestinian people and thwart the goals and plans of the occupation.
He continued: This round has achieved real progress that can be built upon, calling for holding the occupation accountable for halting violations and crimes in Gaza, and for committing to fully implementing its obligations.
