Raids and Arrests in the West Bank and Gunfire in Hebron

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-ranging campaign of incursions and raids in various cities and towns of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem early Tuesday morning, involving the arrest of a number of Palestinians, including former prisoners, alongside raiding dozens of homes, searching them, tampering with their contents, and subjecting residents to field interrogations that lasted for hours.

In northern West Bank, occupation forces invaded the town of Jayyous northeast of Qalqilya and arrested young men Samer Hilmi Barq and Malik Amin Baji, following raids on homes in the town.

In Jenin, the forces raided the city and arrested a citizen and his son after invading and searching their home, where the Prisoner's Club reported that the detainees were Yusuf Al-Shami and his son Amr, following acts of vandalism inside the house.

The forces also stormed the old city of Nablus, conducted raids and searches, and arrested a number of young men, including Ibai Ubeid, Ahmad Al-Qassas, Anan Al-Kakhne, Hamza Al-Hafi, Ayman Nasser Bazian, and Ahmad Yamain, while continuing to establish a presence in the eastern part of the city and the vicinity of the Old Askar camp.

They also fired sound bombs during the incursion into the village of Jaloud southeast of Nablus.

In Tulkarem, occupation forces arrested Ahmad Matrook, the father of the wanted Khabbab Matrook, while seizing a vehicle during a raid on the village of Al-Shawawra east of Bethlehem, and arrested young man Muhammad Nabil Al-Khatib after raiding his family’s home.

In Salfit province, the arrests targeted young men Qutaybah Issa Ayash and Yahya Yunus Ayash during the raid on the town of Rafat west of the province.

In Hebron, occupation forces stormed the village of Al-Tapqa south of Dura city and assaulted a number of young men, as well as preventing medical teams from reaching the injured, coinciding with the outbreak of confrontations and heavy gunfire.

In occupied Jerusalem, the forces stormed the area of Ras Shuhada in the town of Anata northeast of the city and launched tear gas canisters heavily near Qalandiya camp, while daily incursions continue in various areas of the West Bank accompanied by repeated arrests and raids.
