The government approves Eid al-Adha holiday.. and the "Finance" ministry will issue a statement regarding salaries before the holiday
SadaNews - The Palestinian Cabinet stated that amid the financial blockade imposed on the government, the Ministry of Finance continues its efforts to secure the payment of a portion of salaries before the holiday, and will issue a statement in this regard later, along with a series of other steps aimed at enhancing the steadfastness of employees.
The council said: "We commend the public sector employees for their patience and dedication in serving their people and strengthening their resilience. We call upon all unions to cease protest activities to strengthen unity on the home front against the fierce assault from the occupation government and its settlers."
The Cabinet reiterated that the clearance funds are Palestinian funds, and their transfer to the Palestinian Ministry of Finance must be conducted fully and regularly, in accordance with signed agreements and existing commitments.
On the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Adha, the Cabinet extended its congratulations to the entire population, wishing that the next holiday arrives with the aspirations of our people for freedom and independence achieved, declaring the holiday leave from the morning of next Tuesday until the evening of Saturday.
