Nine Injured Due to Attacks by Settlers Protected by Occupation Forces in the West Bank
SadaNews - Nine Palestinians were injured with bruises and suffocation, and a youth was arrested on Friday evening during an attack by occupation forces and settlers while attempting to steal a flock of sheep in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
Activist Osama Makhamra stated that settlers attacked the residents of Khirbat Asafi, attempting to steal sheep from the Awad family, where the locals confronted them, resulting in injuries to nine people, including four women, from bruises and suffocation due to pepper spray.
The occupation forces, who arrived to protect the settlers, repressed the citizens and arrested the youth Muhammad Ismail Awad (15 years old).
In another attack by settlers, a Palestinian was injured in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus.
Source from the Red Crescent reported that two citizens aged 48 and 28 were injured due to the settlers attacking them by beating.
Settlers had attacked Palestinian lands east of the town and assaulted the residents, resulting in injuries to two of them.
Earlier on Friday, several Palestinians, including women and children, were injured with bruises and suffocation due to an attack by settlers in the Hawara area east of Yatta, south of Hebron, while occupation forces arrested three Palestinians during the attack.
Makhamra mentioned that a group of armed settlers attacked a family while its members were present on their land near their home in the Hawara area east of Yatta, assaulting them with beatings and spraying pepper gas on their faces, leading to injuries to an elderly man and six family members, including two children, due to bruises and suffocation. They were transferred to Yatta governmental hospital.
Occupation forces stormed the area and participated in the assault on the residents, mistreating them before arresting three of the locals.
