Death Toll from Venezuela Earthquakes Exceeds Four Thousand
SadaNews - Venezuela announced on Saturday that the death toll from the devastating earthquakes that struck the country has surpassed four thousand fatalities.
Venezuelan Parliament President Jorge Rodriguez wrote on the Telegram app that at least 4,118 people have lost their lives, and 16,740 others have been injured due to the successive earthquakes that occurred on June 24, leveling entire neighborhoods to the ground in the coastal state of La Guaira.
Thousands more have also been reported as missing.
