Iran Announces Response to Latest U.S. Proposal to End War
SadaNews - Iran announced on Monday that it has responded to a new U.S. proposal aimed at ending the war, stating that communication with the United States continues despite media reports describing Washington's demands as excessive.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baqai said during a press conference: "As we announced yesterday (Sunday), we have conveyed our concerns to the American side".
He added that communication with Washington "is ongoing through the Pakistani mediator", without providing further details.
A Pakistani source told Reuters on Monday that Islamabad sent a revised Iranian proposal to the United States late Sunday, at a time when talks between the two sides appeared to remain stalled.
The source also added, when asked about whether the disagreements between the two sides would take time to resolve: "We do not have much time".
He indicated that Washington and Tehran "continue to change their terms".
