Saudi Arabia Delivers Its Annual Contribution of Two Million Dollars to UNRWA

SadaNews - On Tuesday, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the non-resident ambassador and commissioner to the State of Palestine, Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al Saud, delivered Saudi Arabia's annual contribution of two million dollars to the Acting Commissioner General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), Christian Saunders, to support its budget, programs, and operations in the region.

The Saudi ambassador emphasized Saudi Arabia's commitment, under the guidance of the wise leadership, to support the Palestinian cause and assist the Palestinian people, as well as to back UNRWA's budget to enable it to fulfill its social, humanitarian, educational, and health obligations towards Palestinian refugees, especially in light of the difficult and harsh conditions they face, highlighting UNRWA's vital role in providing humanitarian services to the Palestinian people and alleviating their suffering.

The Acting Commissioner General of the agency, Christian Saunders, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its continuous and steadfast support to enable UNRWA to implement its various programs for the service and relief of Palestinian refugees.
