Netanyahu: The battle with Iran is not over yet and we have more work to do
SadaNews - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday evening that the war against Iran is not over yet, indicating that "we have more to do," in his second recorded statement without a press presence or answering questions since the fragile ceasefire agreement came into effect early last Wednesday.
He deemed that the 12-day war in June 2025, followed by the war that erupted in February 2026, prevented Iran from acquiring a nuclear bomb, adding that "there is still enriched uranium in Iran, and we must extract it either through an agreement or by other means.".
He added, "We have broken the barrier of fear in acting against Iran. We have removed a dual existential threat;" referencing the nuclear program and ballistic missiles.
