The Presidency Welcomes the Announcement of a Ceasefire Between the US and Iran and Considers It an Important Step Towards Stability

SadaNews: The Palestinian presidency welcomed today, Wednesday, the announcement of a ceasefire that took place this morning between the United States and Iran, considering it a positive and significant step towards achieving stability.

The presidency praised the efforts made by Pakistan and all parties advocating for the cessation of war, emphasizing the importance of making efforts to achieve a permanent end to the state of war in the region.

President Mahmoud Abbas called for the necessity of including the Palestinian territories, which are subjected to continuous assaults by settlers and occupying forces in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem, as well as in stopping aggression against brotherly Lebanon. President Abbas added that we consider this an important step in enhancing the sovereignty, security, and stability of all countries in the region.
