The Occupation Court Rejects the Petition Regarding the Demolition of 25 Buildings in Nur Shams Camp

SadaNews - The Israeli High Court has decided to reject the petition concerning the demolition order of 25 buildings in Nur Shams camp, east of Tulkarem.

The Governor of Tulkarem, Major General Dr. Abdullah Kmail, condemned the Israeli High Court's decision, considering it a manifestation of the arrogance and sadism of the occupation, and affirmed its insistence on continuing the crime against the Palestinian people and their families in the Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps.

Governor Kmail pointed out in a press statement that the Occupation Court considered the military order to be in effect; however, it acknowledged in its decision that the demolition by the occupation army cannot be executed before December 27, 2025, to allow coordination for the removal of citizens' belongings from their homes.

The governor emphasized the urgent need for international intervention and the involvement of human rights and humanitarian organizations to stop this crime against our people in Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps, which has resulted in forced displacement, destruction and damage to infrastructure, and the demolition of citizens' homes, in addition to the military orders issued against farmers in the areas of Shuwayka Plain, Deir al-Ghusun, Attil, and Baqa al-Sharqiya under flimsy security pretexts.

Major General Dr. Kmail affirmed that these Israeli policies and decisions represent a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights laws, as well as international charters and norms, calling for international protection for our people and accountability for the occupation for its continuous crimes against unarmed civilians.
