Azeddine Ounahi opened the scoring for the Atlas Lions in the 50th minute, capitalizing on a smart pass from Achraf Hakimi from a free kick, striking a low shot from outside the penalty area that found the left corner of Canada's net.

Ounahi returned to add his second personal goal in the 82nd minute, benefiting from a quick counter-attack and an accurate pass from Ibrahim Diaz, further solidifying the Moroccan team's lead and bringing them closer to qualification.

Sofiane Rahimi scored the third goal in the seventh minute of stoppage time, concluding the match with a historic triple for the Atlas Lions.
