Death of Artist Tarek El-Amir After a Battle with Illness
SadaNews - The artist Tarek El-Amir passed away today, Wednesday, due to the deterioration of his health condition, and the funeral prayer will be held in the Cairo governorate of Egypt.
The late artist was admitted to the hospital after his health deteriorated and he fell into a coma. A source close to Tarek El-Amir stated that the health crisis was due to a heart artery failure, and he had previously suffered from heart problems without his knowledge.
The source added that he felt severe pain and recently lost consciousness, which necessitated his transfer to a private hospital in Cairo, where medical tests confirmed the heart had stopped, and the medical team attempted to revive him.
Tarek El-Amir was an Egyptian actor and writer, born in Cairo in 1965. He began his artistic career in the 1990s and played secondary roles in cinema and television. Among his most notable roles was the character of the officer "Hani", the advisor of love in the film "Elly Balak Belak" with the artist Mohamed Saad, which was released in 2003.
He also participated in the film "Asal Aswad" with Ahmed Helmy, playing the role of "Abd El-Monsif", married with a suspended sentence, which was released in 2010, and the role of Messaad in the film "Awkal", in addition to other works. He wrote several cinematic films including "Katkot", "Matb Sanaa", and "El Hob Keda".
