HMD Announces Launch of a New Device for Kids
SadaNews - Less than two months after the launch of HMD Touch 4G, HMD has announced a new device specifically designed for children in collaboration with the Norwegian brand "Xplora," which specializes in the children's smartwatch market.
The new phone is called XploraOne and combines the features of smartphones and traditional phones in a safe and child-friendly design.
The XploraOne bears a resemblance to the Touch 4G, featuring a small touchscreen, a front camera for selfies, and a main button on the front, while the back includes a single camera with an LED flash, according to a report published by "gsmarena" that was reviewed by "Al Arabiya Business."
The phone has a physical SIM slot on the left side, power and volume buttons on the right side, as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack and an additional button on the top.
Features Designed for Kids
The phone allows young users to make and receive calls, and to send text and voice messages.
It is also designed to be completely safe: it has extensive parental controls and does not support third-party applications, web browsers, or social media applications, ensuring a safe digital environment for children.
HMD and Xplora are expected to reveal more details soon, including technical specifications and pricing, to expand the options for devices dedicated to children in the market.
