Mustafa Discusses with the Union of Labor Unions the Expansion of Employment and Vocational Rehabilitation Programs

SadaNews - Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa discussed with a delegation from the General Union of Palestinian Labor Unions, headed by Secretary General Shaher Saad, and in the presence of Minister of Labor Dr. Inas Al-Attari, the situation of Palestinian workers and ways to enhance their resilience in the face of compounded challenges.

The meeting, which was held today, Saturday, addressed the depth of the crisis facing the labor sector, amidst declining job opportunities, movement restrictions, and rising economic pressures, in addition to the efforts made by the Ministry of Labor and the General Union to expand employment and vocational rehabilitation programs, which contribute to reducing unemployment, protecting rights, and enhancing resilience.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the government will not limit itself to managing the crisis, but is working to expand practical interventions, intensify supportive programs for workers, and accumulate social protection tools, in parallel with serious efforts to restore their rights and open new horizons for employment despite existing complications.

In a related context, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of enhancing international cooperation, especially with the International Labor Organization, to expand the scope of technical support.
