Scientific Partnership Enhancing the Readiness of Future Engineers

SadaNews - The Jerusalem District Electricity Company presented a specialized workshop hosted by Bethlehem University, as part of efforts to enhance academic cooperation and link theoretical aspects with practical application in the energy sector.

The workshop was presented by Engineer Bassam Badr and Engineer Ibrahim Kriyakous, who reviewed the company's journey and the evolution of electricity distribution services, in addition to a technical presentation on the state of the electrical network and challenges of integrating renewable energy systems, especially solar energy, along with solutions to enhance the efficiency and future readiness of the network.

The workshop witnessed engagement from students and the academic staff, emphasizing the importance of developing practical skills and expanding cooperation through scientific lectures and field training programs to prepare qualified engineering personnel for the labor market.
