
Palestinian Islamic Bank Participates in Sibos 2025 Conference and Exhibition
SadaNews - The Palestinian Islamic Bank is participating in the Sibos 2025 Conference and Exhibition, which commenced its activities in Frankfurt on Monday, September 29, 2025, and will continue for four days, organized by the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT). This annual event is a leading one in the global financial services sector.
The bank is represented at Sibos 2025 by General Manager Dr. Imad Saadeh and Assistant General Manager for Planning and Development, Asem Al-Masri. Hundreds of experts, specialists, managers, and representatives from banks, fintech companies, payments, artificial intelligence, and information security are participating in the conference.
This year's conference discusses several key issues of global financial concern, including the ideal payment experience, supporting digital transformation using artificial intelligence, key products in the fintech sector, cybersecurity, sustainability, and financial inclusion, among other topics.
The bank's delegation held a series of meetings with representatives from fintech, payments, artificial intelligence companies, correspondent banks, and financial institutions. During these meetings, they explored potential collaboration opportunities and the possibility of building new partnerships that would contribute to developing the services and products the bank offers to its clients, especially in the area of digital transformation and utilizing artificial intelligence technologies to provide advanced banking solutions.
Dr. Saadeh stated that participation in the Sibos Conference is of great importance; as it is a distinguished and exceptional annual event, and participation presents an opportunity to enhance the bank's strategic partnerships, whether with banks, financial institutions, or companies specialized in technological solutions, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence. During the conference, SWIFT presented its most important updates that have been achieved and their significance in enhancing the efficiency of services provided to banks and the payment sector.
The Sibos conference, held annually for nearly 50 years, specializes in discussing the challenges facing the growth of the banking and financial sector in technical and legislative areas. It also discusses significant annual events in the field of financial banking operations and features an exhibition that includes dozens of companies specializing in technological solutions, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence.
