Arab Bank Supports Awareness Campaign and Free Early Breast Cancer Screening

SadaNews - The Arab Bank announced its sponsorship of the awareness campaign and free screenings for women to detect breast cancer early, organized by the Dunya Association for Women's Cancer under the slogan "Your Right to Screening is Your Right to Life" in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This step comes as part of the bank's commitment to social responsibility and its eagerness to support health and humanitarian initiatives that contribute to raising awareness and positively impact the health and safety of the community.

This sponsorship includes coverage of the costs for early screening for more than 150 women over the age of forty from low-income backgrounds, alongside a comprehensive awareness campaign aimed at highlighting the importance of early detection as an effective means of prevention, serving as the first line of defense against the disease and increasing recovery chances.

In this context, Dr. Jamal Hourani, the Director of the Palestine Area at the Arab Bank, stated: "Our support for this campaign aligns with the bank's strategy on social responsibility, which prioritizes health and women's empowerment."
